After reading http://arbiter.wipo.int/domains/decisions/html/2006/d2006-0294.html

got some question in mind, is that possible a LL, LN, NL, or NN.com run into problems?

I know the usage of the domain is the key to avoid complaint. However, no one could completely know which company uses the same word as their TM and what business they are doing. So how could we decide to use the domain legitimately?

OR

If I invested $100k on a parked LL.com, and the previous owner has emailed some company(holds the LL as their TM) to sell this domain, then will I be affected by their actions(bad faith)?

Thank you for your advises in advance.

If you pay that much for a domain, keep your listing private. You can't be sued by somebody who doesn't know where you are.

Generally, it is very hard to win a trademark case based on an acronym based domain

Moreover the money expectation shown in the website is US$ 10,000 but when the Complainant began to negotiate for the transfer of the domain name <cmz.com> the Respondent tried to get even a higher profit from that purchase. The Respondent was prepared to sell the domain name <cmz.com> to anyone, but for the owner of the trademark he raised his request to US$ 35,000. This behavior may only be considered as the bad faith of the Respondent who was aware of the interest of the Complainant

It looks as though the owner of the name made the company involved feel targeted as the key buyer interested in the name and that they didn't receive the same treatment as all parties interested. Personally, I think that this is probably the case of the owner of the name pushing the boundaries of selling practices and was asking for trouble.

Thank you, VURG, then if the previous owner has done some bad faith, will is affect me? With this in mind.
