I'm interested in cars so I had a look at c-a-r-s.com . It's been registered since 2001 and has a proper site for it which has been up since 2006. That person obviously sees some value in his name.

Making a site on any domain name is not going to add any value. I mean, do you even know the traffic stats of that website i.e c-a-r-s.com? How much money he is making? Is he even getting his ROI?

From SEM rush i can see that his website gets around 20-30 visits a month.
