L-L-L dot com values?

What, if any, are the general values of a L-L-L dot com domains?

Yes, I think $46 was definitely a good price for that. Just look at all the "KNS" Google results for businesses that could simplify their domain to K-N-S.com!

You of course need to be a bit careful approaching end users, particularly trademark owners, just like you would with LLL.com or any other domain, in that you don't want to give the appearance of "bad faith" registrations that could lead to them take action against you. I think that many of the end-user sales have actually resulted from unsolicited contact from the end user.

I don't think end users care about hyphens quite the way we domainers are "taught" to -- it's just a placeholder, really. So no, I don't think they need that much convincing -- and really the possibilities for end users needing a 3-letter acronym are much greater than for a 4-letter acronym.

endusers find you normally, and i have had a couple of x,xxx sales recently
there are only 17,500 approx L-L-L.com same as LLL.com

Now about 25% of L-L-L.com's are developed, we know that. far more obviously in LLL.com

Now the min reseller on LLL.com is $6.5k ish
It is generally regarded that there are no bad LLL.com
This carries over to L-L-L.com too

It's not unheard of for LLL.com's to sell for $100k
Their supply is running dry. L-L-L.com canot be handregged by endusers and they have to come to the aftermarket to buy
Many endusers use the style of L-L-L in thier logos too

I am a huge fan and have a large holding. The prices that some can still be bought on the aftermarket is amazing. Now is def. a good time to buy

We are regularly seeing xxx prices on aftermarket for good combos
I can see in 18 months tinme $300+ being minimum for all premium combos

yes, because as said, the wordt LLL.com (on aftermarket, not enduser) goes for $6.5k +

a similar combo in L-L-L.com may be available for as little as $50 ish from a reseller if you're lucky

I find that one thing i really like with L-L-L´s is that they look very symmetrical and easy to remember, I would remember a x-v-z over a xzvx any day.

hopefully they will start to steadily climb up in price even for resellers but without the LLLL hype and infaltion - deflation

so I guess the best thing to do is to sit on my L-L-L for a while

I agree, and that's one of the reasons I strongly favor them over LL-L and L-LL as well.

seems premium L-L-L.com are really started to pick up a bit on forums after being wildly underpriced for all these years. still long way to go

tell you, it's starting to happen...

L-L-L buyout was the first one, then we had LLLL.com buyout but investors went for LLLL.com much more than for L-L-L.com... many of them let L-L-L.com for us :lol:

have you had any good sales of your L-L-L´s and do you think they have gone up in price or has the market stagnated like it has for LLLL`s?

i sold F-M-E in february for $2,500 and i was contacted by the end-user

theres no other way to L-L-L but up... as arnie said very well, LLL.com prices will be very high to be bought by small business and then what will they have?
they will choose between a L-L-L and, probably, a LLLL ending in "O" (online) or another letter... use of dashes is a matter of habit as they are seen as not good but things will change since good/brandable names will be scarce and people/businesses who have their exact names/acronyms will be the ones easily remembered by their customers
