BTW there are no all-premium L-L-L.coms dropping within next 7 days. Anyway number of L-L-L.com drops decreased significantly and still market is declining. However as to me buying domain for 30-100 and selling it for 1000-2500 still worth even if reseller market is in decline.

THen people created too many trends....now even L-LL or LL-L , too much is too much.

I agree too much is too much. But even LLLL.com's are declining. You can get triple premiums for $60 and under. 1 month ago you could not do that.

Anyway this is the L-L-L.com thread, so sorry for this post.

its not that L-L-L.com is in decline its the fact everyone knows they can get 3 good
letter L-L-L.coms from drops for around $90, so those who are selling 2 good letters
on resell market takes more time to find a buyer.

Also it seems drops are getting less and less which is a good thing, this means
people are holding on to their good letter L-L-L.coms.

Everyone is after a bargain but everyone wants 3 good letters even tho it
doesn't really matter if you have 3 or 0 good letters as every letter is a good
letter in different countrys.

some of us are selling some L-L-L.coms in the resell market to pay household bills
and to pay for other L-L-L.com renewals.

People are conserving their money a bit more in 2008 unlike 2007 when everyone
was flush.

Each year in domaining something changes less money coming in from parking
less money getting spent on domains, it will pick up again within the year.

I don't agree in your assessment of L-L-L as unsure...the end user sales we're seeing are proof that there's most certainly a real market for it.

I do feel less certainty, however, about L-LL and LL-L (despite owning a few myself), for reasons I've stated in the past, regarding the asymmetry of them implying a meaning in the way they're split up versus the even spread of L-L-L.

However, plenty of people seem to feel confident about those as well, and I do think that the current buyout that's going on of those final two .com niches is affecting the reselling market for L-L-Ls.

When L-LLs and LL-Ls are all gone, then I think we'll see things really start to move.


Oh, and as for new sales, here are a couple I've bought:

i dont often disagree with u these days, but you are actually 100% wrong on this

reseller L-L-L.com prices have always been way underpriced and have nowhere to fall, they have remained contant and are gradually heating, their value is in endusers. the reseller market isnt really worth considering........ yet

LLL.com & LLLL.com are different

i have seen bad quality of both of tyhese drop a lot
yep, even LLL.com
couple sold for $6.5k on dnf other day, aint seen that in a while, and the drop in LLLL.com is the main story

now, no need for panic as i am a fan of ALL the niches above.
but the economic climate is kicking in so people will buy quality first. next year is a good time for bargains all round.

low quality L-L-L.com, LLL.com & LLLL.com will all sell cheap

high quality is a differnet matter

i mean i see xqz.com falling for example and ghn.com for example rising up up and away

recently:

i have paid xxxx for L-L-L.com myself for absolute quality
i have paid xxxx for LLLL.com myself for absolute quality
i have paid xx,xxx for NNN.com absolute quality

the real thing with L-L-L.com and LLL.com though is each and every one is precious as there are so few

i sold z-z-m.com for xxxx recently too and used dough to buy a super premium L-L-L.com

trade up bitch, trade up

on another note, there is more awareness coming to our industry and outside investors are getting more involved.
we all have less cash in pocket but a lot of the names we hold could be absolute pearls in a couple of years, even on reseller market.
hold what u can is my advice.
i really hate selling to resellers i have to say lol
