I think you put that the desire for a short domain is sending prices for LLL.COM sky high. With only 17,576 possible combinations competition is intense for these domains.
An alternative way that will allow you to market your company using your company initials is using L-L-L.com. Again there are only 17,576 of these as well but the going rate in the secondary market is far below LLL.com. While the prices on LLL.com range from $6,000 to six figures the L-L-L.com provides your company initials at an affordable price.

Hey guys,
I need some help here. I'm trying to find enduser for one of my L-L-L.coms and I've made list of potential bidders. The thing that bothers me is what should I say about L-L-L domains, why are they so good investment and how will it pay off? 2 hyphens in 5 char domain could look pretty unsightly on the first look to someone who is not in this industry, so I was wondering whether should I mention that all L-L-L.com domains have been registered and that this kind of domains is good alternative for LLL.coms. What else would you put in this kind of email?

nice suggestions equity78!!!

besides, you can tell this potential end-user there are 25% of them developed, you can show them some examples of these developed sites (there are thousands of them here) and you can also show some end-useres sales (not in the first email) after they make you an offer (it is good to show these sales when you make the counter-offer)

good luck :)

BTW, great sale we had today
F-L-Y.com and it was a fair price

:notme: :gn: :'(

It's up to $700 with 7 minutes left...

EDIT: Make that $775!

EDIT: Now up to $800 -- you might not have had enough anyway, Bluebecker!

EDIT: Wow, ended at $1000! Was it one of you here?
I knew this one would attract attention,

Now if d-i-y.com was dropping it would be the same. Adding to bluebecker.com thanks.

Edit:

Can we all thank IAmAllanShore he was the first person to scan the
available L-L-L.com lists and provide bluebecker.com with the very first list
which made BB what it is, thanks IAmAllanShore all give this man some rep.

And a thank you to GoPc for thinking out loud plus the detailed advice
from equity and many others. One more thank you to vurg for the first N-N-N list.

Make hay while the sun shines is my advice.
Theres some steals still tobe had like Dag just nailed

At onlky 17.5k of them , minus 25% developed
Another say 40% in domainers collections, waiting for right prices and renewing and the other percentage in owners hands, with the domain on the 'to do list'

eventually the drops will start running dry

with LLLL.com there will be tons dropping forever :imho: as an example
i am a fan of LLLL.com too, but trying to put in perspective

i would say approx a year, and the well will strat running dry

because of the enduser take up of these names and the fact they are coms so no hardship in renewing, i can see prices soaring end 2008/early 2009
There is a real correction to be had. upwards :imho: :sold:

You said it! While everyone's distracted by LLLLs (including myself to some degree, I'll admit), a lot of good L-L-Ls are still available at pretty reasonable prices.

And I'm not seeing nearly as many of these dropping as there were just a couple of months ago! I think the well really is beginning to dry up, and these are definitely due for a correction. I'm feeling very good about my collection -- and if it ever came down to it, I'd sell off my LLLLs to help pay the upkeep on my L-L-Ls, rather than the other way around!

Funny, I'm just not getting the parking income on mine that you and GoPC have talked about -- I get traffic, but not many clicks. They're at Parked...just don't know what else I should be doing to get the revenue... :|

i am starting to put up a one page 'billboard', a little info, and so can be no mistake domain is for sale, rather than tiny text in corner.

also, a google adsense search box provides most useful option for people and the best revenue

Yea me too, the only ones of mine that get decent revenue are J-E-G and R-T-K, and U-W-E

Any advice? All three were at bodis, and now J-E-G is at parked, and I might move the rest of mine over there as well.
