it seems that buydomains is the seller. BTW why you think that price is odd high? The price is exactly what it should be when you deal with end-user and when you have the guts to command high prices. With number of domains and experience that BuyDomains have I think that they know prices they should sell their names. And this sale will give them possibility to buy 100 more l-l-l.com prices... I'm pretty sure with future of l-l-l.com market.

it has more to do with the potential the L-L-L.com has to an end-user than if it's a premium name or not

besides, this is more than 50% of the average price of a LLL.com these days and i think it'll take some years to reach this price and we have recession which i've been reading about and specialists say it'll will take one year or two to its end


BTW, it seems afternic is the best marketplace in regards to L-L-L.com

Well, let's keep them coming. I have yet to make an end user sale on an L-L-L or LLLL .com. Not worried about it yet though

I think the recession wont hurt much of the values of the domains as the value holds true due to their rarity. Business grows everyday and the internet grows everyday. In the end there will be potential clients as the names will be an important part of their internet market. There is money out there 24-7 it's just how you market your name to get out there in the spotlight so they will be seen.

I think this is mainly because it's easy to remember, easy to type and l-l-l.com are phone compliant. With more and more fashion in future for l-l-l.com their price will be raising too. Currently a lot of companies like atlasmagneticseurope.com with long domain names simply don't know that names like a-m-e.com are solutions, because they even never saw them in search engine results.

I am all for L-L-L.com right now, see the potential, but so far the end-user type sales are spotty - it will take a while for end users to get into these types of domains. Ones with all premium letters are still going for under $100. These remind me of LLN.com around 2003 or 2004. You could buy them in forums, etc. for under $20 or $30, and now they go for over $500. This is probably the type of growth we'll see with the average L-L-L.com, although the amount of end user sales will probably climb steadily. There is also more use for a domain with three letters, than with two letters and a number.
