Hey all,

I just turned on Fox News and they talked about the weather lady should get her own domain with her nickname("www.theweathermachine.com", Bill Hemmer came up with that idea earlier i believe) and some freakin squatters already sent some offerings like" i like your show and i registered myweathermachine.com, i don't want a high amount bla bla bla"....

The comments where"that seems just wrong".....

THAT IS JUST WRONG!!!....these kind of guys are the one's who are feeding the already negative public Profile of the legit Domainer....

I am getting mad...

I heard him suggest "myweathermachine" and "yourweathermachine" as alternatives, lol, and I chuckled to myself knowing those were probably registered within a minute of him mentioning them. I mean, c'mon, how useful is a domain "yourweathermachine.com?"

This domain would come very handy to me, once i finished developing the "weather-3000 XL", your private wheatermachine for your frontyard(features including make your own rain clouds above your lawn, create a little tornado over the property of someone you hate, it comes with google map API and many more features), it is 55% done- i could sell it on "www.yourweathermachine.com" and make tons of green!!! :hehe:

(BTW, i heard the same and went to a registrar to check lol)

yes it is a bit cheeky but it is also good that you can watch tv, see an idea and register it right away. I seen a promotion on NBC day show once about some new products to hit the market so a few minutes later I registered several names related to these products.

It's just quick thinking in my opinion.... although I suspect that on this occasion the registrant is going to be left holding the names

Where else are ideas going to come from if its not the news / ads / trends etc..
I get a lot of my ideas from the tech journals regarding the mobile web & which applications are growing fast due to public take-up... I have a gammut of .mobis in specific genres / areas that I believe have a strong chance of making it.
