I keep hearing this come from people so i am going to set it straight.

Domainers love .Coms most and all the other TLDs less.

However, the money a domainer makes on a domain has nothing to do with how much you can make on a domain is developing it.

Google DOES NOT place more importance on .COMs than it does .NETs. It is about:

-Number of backlinks
-Number of click from Google
-Keyphase relevance vs keyphase use in tthe content
-Quality of content... tons of videos and no text is bad content.
-Quality of html coding... googlebot trips on elements like javascript.
-a few other variables but you catch my drift.

.Nets and other TLDs do just as well as .COMs.

Prime example:

free money pics - Google Search

Note the .NET just 4 listings down, outranking millions of .COMs?

Now remember, the value of a domain for a domainer is far lower than the value of a domain for a developer.
