question Replacement for GoDaddy's bulk name checker

Does anybody know of a good bulk domain checker that is not Godaddy. It used to be good, but after they made a change recently it just does not work the same. It used to return results pretty quickly now it takes forever. I already use Namebright's checker but they only work with .nets and .coms.

Any recommendations?

I use bulk search from Name.com for others then .COMs and .NETs.
It supports lots of TLDs and from what I remember the limit is 5000 per search.
Hope it helps you too! ;) Have Fun! :)

Still not working right. How can a big company like GD not have fixed this yet?

I used to use this bulk checker exclusively, but now all I get is errors or domains that are not really available for regular registration and mostly premium domains for sale at retail prices. It really sucks now.

Add to this - when someone searches for a domain all they see now are all new tld's, and your premium domains never show up unless they type in the exact domain keyword? What is happening over at GD?

Gd has gone way down hill lately?

It worked for me yesterday and today, but I was only looking for less than 25 domains at a time.

Works erratically for me, but I tend to use it for hundreds at a time. The limit is 500 domains. It used to work great with no problem at all.

Yes it used to work great for more than 100 domains, but now is a pain for more than 50 domains.
I used to search for 100's at a time. Now i think they are losing sales due to the bulk search issue.

Have you also noticed that when a domain shows as available it is usually a premium domain whereas before it would show you what domains were available for reg fee.

Yes.
There is a lot of issues with Godaddy that they say they are working on. I just wish it would get fixed soon.

Another thing that bothers me is a tld is advertised for let's say $9.99, it shows as available, but the pricing is completely different when I get to the cart. These don't show as premium domains until you click thru to your cart, then you are shown the crazy person pricing.

I had $200,000 worth of domains in my cart today thinking I was looking at just a couple domains marketed at 1000's of time cheaper. I feel like it's almost a bait and switch bs trick.

There is no different pricing listed for some of the tlds until you checkout.
