Hello all, recently joined the forum after a good 1-2hr deep dive and reading lots of random threads and almost right away I was hooked. Very interesting hobby many of you have. Ive never had any domain issues with my first start up the domain name i wanted was available and I purchased it.
But now on my second start up which is a whole new project I ran into something interesting, the domain is not in use and was sold in late august 2023. Multiple domain estimators place the value at <$300 all except for one estimator, who happens to own the domain. GoDaddy owns the domain and values it at more >$10,000 despite being dead link for several years!
Im interested in learning from the community on how to potentially acquire this domain, ive had many brokers eagerly contact me to "offer assistance" but for some reason i dont get a good feeling about working with brokers.
I'll continue my readings on the threads here but any links or guidance from experienced members is very much welcomed.
