I've had my site half a year, and Google still hasn't indexed it

Hey guys,

I have had HLForums.com now since July of 2005. For some reason, Google still has not indexed it at all. MSN and Yahoo have both indexed it, but not Google. I just don't get why Google isn't indexing it whatsoever.

Any suggestions on how I can get Google to index it? Am I doing something wrong here?

Could be due to less or no inbound links or Google Sandbox. The Sandbox acts as a probation for sites, possibly to discourage spam sites from rising quickly, getting banned, and repeating the process.

Of course, that's the normal.

Get more sites to link to it, put it in your signature and you will see. If you get more than 30 sites linking to it and still no results it might be banned, but I don't think so.

try submitting to base.google.com make sure also that you have .xml file (rss feed) on it and add content to http://www.google.com/ig/ good luck

AndyM3 im not sure about invision power board if they have rss backend or rss real time feed, in phpbb i can say that they have and what i do i take that .xml (full url) and then give it a ping http://pingoat.com/ that is if you have content on it already im sure you have that will give some additional back links on your forum. also on my.yahoo.com and base.google.com they're accepting .xml feeds.

HELLO EVERYONE, JUST SIGNED UP HERE

My understanding thru a couple online web courses I am taking is in late "05" Google instituted a new policy regarding newly registered domain name web sites. Google has always searched all content and new content. That is how they got to be where they are today. But a few months ago they took a new course. They now will not visit new sites for at least (six months and up to a year after site was established!

If this is true than for those of us who have names registered one or more years ago, we have a new slant on selling our names. They are more valualble as traffic will go to a established site.



Correct me if I am wrong as this is second hand news to me.
