Google Site Index dropped from 3,00,000 pages to 94,000 ???

Our site had more then 3,00,000 pages indexed with google around 25 days and since then it has been dropping constantly.. we have around 94,000 pages indexed currently.. for following domains.

www.techarena.in
http://forums.techarena.in
http://gallery.techarena.in

I am very much unsure of this weird behaviour, need help/suggestions before the page drop still continues.

Google Re-Indexing Same Content Again and Again Everytime.

I have seen this annoying behaviour with google since last couple of months, Google bot will come over and re-index same content again and again.

(confirmed via whosonline.php on vbulletin forums) A couple of threads under archive has been re-indexed by google for more then 15 times till now.

I am very much unsure about this behaviour, can someone highlight more here ?

Why do you think this is a weird? Do you have any experence with google?

Nothing is out of the ordanary, google is just spidering your site, it'll drop and pick up pages all the time. They do this with every website...

Yup its just that google bots like to crawl sites so thats all thats happening why are you so mad at that its just normal procedure . If you dont like googlebots to be crawled over your site than just ask google to put your site in banlist so googlebots wont crawl over your site.

This is an absolute inappropriate answer, especially from a new member to this forum.
We are here to help each other not to make useless comments that help nobody.


Unfortunately, I have no answer to what G is doing to your site myself.

I think google does no longer consider your site so important.(you lost some BL maybe?)

due to a busy schedule, i stopped working on site these days i.e., acuquring new BLs
Should be this reason..... but no idea about the heavy drop in index
