.tv I've got a domain, ideas, and a model...now what

I posted some of my recently acquired .tvs yesterday and I have decided to develop all of them because I have good ideas for them. I am going to start with Villains.tv, I want it to be a site dedicated to the most notorious movie and tv villains. I have been searching and I came across a site called movievillains.com, this is exactly what I want my site to be but with video. So how do I do this? I am not very programming savy and I am new to the .tv extension. I registered with channelme.tv but a few people advised against it. So where does this leave me, how do I get my channel up and running. Also how do I monetize a (.tv).

I agree with you, the best way to generate business with the .tv proyect is to start NOW.

Awesome sites martin but I dont really have the funds to develop a site. I am a college student just doing this as a hobby. I guess the major point of .tv sites is to be able to control the content you put on the channel, but if you dont have rich exclusive content why would someone want to go to your site? I just need some help as far as starting my channel and getting traffic.

Thanks Cashcow and bgmv for your positive feedback. Another clue is that sothamerican developers are very cheap so something that in the states can cost 2 or 3 K you can get it here for 300 dollars, and with this platform you can take any youyube video and put it in your site in full screen mode, So you have a lot of contents for diferent issues.

IT is very hard to sell something that fot many months have the same On Sale banner, you have to blow potential prospect mind , so the say wow i want this. And you should do it very cheap.

Well that s my strategy

FLV Format

The format is FLV flash like you tube blip tv etc.
In fact you can take any you tube video and pasted in this site without any conversion. This is very usefull because you have a lot of diferent contents and you can put to each domain that you have something regarded with your domain target.

Did the folks who "advised against" advise for something? IMO, it sounds like Me.TV fits your experience, budget and the Villains.TV vision... as the platform will let you a build a movie Villains "video locker", with social networking tools, and you can now monetize it with adsense, amazon and other widgets.

Stigmatizing peer pressure clubs/gangs are everywhere. Be you new at school or new to .TV. Beware of their friendly advice. take it with a grain of salt... (Jane Doe is not really a golddigger, 'The Jocks' are not dumb). Me.TV does not suck. It is what it is. If it fits, use it. If not, don't.
