i have been inquiring to ron about ad space on dnjournal- one cant buy your names if one doesnt know about them- right?
well, instead of a classified again i want to run a display ad-
i am going to take one of my tvs as a display showcase of my tv portfolio- and JUST advertise the site with just the tv names (it will be seperate from my regular site-
this site is strictly a selling showcase, not a forum or community- with rons cover story and tv getting on the run now- i want my tvs front and center and the buyers come out more-

now- the whole reason i am writing this is i am getting this ad no matter what but i am going to try and defray my costs a bit if possible-
if anyone wants to display their tv portfolio on the advertised site and chip in for the cost let me know-
it is a 30 day ad run-

well his home page and sales page i guess are close in traffic- his site says:

Page Classes are divided by traffic patterns. The Home Page has the most traffic, followed closely by the Domain Sales page, then Class A, Class B, and Class C pages.

i just want to go for one of the top two- either the home page or the sales page-
i plan on doing a very direct banner- no fluff, it has to stand out with all the other ads- it may be as asimple as to just say:

Simply the BEST .tv Portfolios on the web- click here

or something right to the point like that- with rons current cover story and the may 1-3 always on event- .tv is going to get alot of attention i thnk and i want my banner front and center-

as far as pricing- this is a not for profit situation- i am just trying to defer costs-

i am going to use my obsessed.tv domain- fron tpage will be simple...

etc- on your page you can list your whole portfolio of names and contact info for questions and purchase info-
the whole page is for your stuff- JUST .tvs-

the ONLY portfolios that will be listed are those who helped pay for the ad- this will keep buyers just focused on the nice handful of portfolios and not thousands of names to rummage thru- one ad runs for one month-

IF this goes off well and does well, we can shoot for another month later-

i am writing ron now to see which spaces are avail- then i will know prices cuz each of his areas are priced differently- so if we get top banner for 400.00 for the month, and we get 10 people who want to be on the ad site- it would be 40.00 each for the one months exposure on the front page of dnjournal-

it would be nice to pay 40 instead of 400

the ONLY things i am going to have on obsessed.tv is these 10 portfolios- thats it- i do NOT want to distract any attention away from why they came to the site-

pure and simple- great .tvs and how to buy them-

so that is the set up- there will be no outside ads, nothing like that- i just wanna start showing off my portfolio to potential buyers and some others can hop on the boat by simply sharing the ad expense-

i am looking for 10 people who are going to commit to this- i told ron i needed to create the banner and needed a day or two- so by thurday i will need to have collected the money from those who want to do it so i can forward the money to ron and start our ad before may 1st when the convention hits-

what you are doing is big and wonderful and long term, this may not be-
but for what i set up to get fair and equal exposure, i dont think we could list another directory amongst the actual portfolios- the actual porfolios will be listed on an owners page-
but, this is short term- you can list your sites- might gain you some more funds to grow your project further-

anyone who comes on now (i think think there are a few getting ready) i am going to then get another smaller ad on another page of rons site with that money- ALL monies going towards advertising the main ad site- so we will have the huge skyscraper on rons FRONT page of dnjournal- and we can have a smaller ad on an inside page too if a few more come on- cool eh??
