Is that correct?...yet we can in GoDaddy?
I'm a beginnner. Am I missing something? I can see that domains of 1 - 5 characters can be searched or browsed for separately in Flippa, but above 5, as far as I can tell there is no way to limit search results based on number of characters in the domain length. I tried to research this, and here at NamePros I found a post from about a year ago starting with "Auction Saturation - Improve search filters" which mentions this issue within a discussion topic/thread called "Flippa Domains and the Quest for a (Near) Perfect Marketplace" (it won't let me put links within my post otherwise I would have put in the link in case people wanted to look at that).
My question is the reason behind it, WHY does Flippa not allow us to search by the number of characters when GoDaddy does? Wouldn't that be to Flippa's disadvantage because it could create less domain exposure Flippa's way for domains > 5 characters? Or not? I'm curious..
It's possible I'm missing something while I was looking at the "Advanced Search" fields on Flippa, so please correct me if I've got anything wrong. I don't have an account with Flippa yet and maybe you get to narrow things down more if you're logged in.
Right now I'm not looking at buying or selling anything, I'm learning and doing research into domains similar to mine that are for sale, for what price, and domains that ACTUALLY sold, and for what price. So my Q isn't urgent at all, but I'm eager to get insights from others.
