When the US violate Iraqi air space and ground territory and does minor attacks, attacking back within your own territory is a reason for the US to go into Iraq?

If the attacks against US air force would be a reason for the US to go into Iraq the reasons for Iraq to go into the US would be so much greater.

Ummm so the UN can be right when it says the US shouldnt attack Iraq yet when the UN tells Iraq it cant fly in certain areas and has the US and UK enforce this its wrong? So what is it, is the UN right or wrong?

The thing you are missing is that US/UK coalition was enforcing it without international backing. It was as well not only enforcing UN regulations, but expanded the prohibited air space. It was also attacking a limited number of ground units below the restricted air space.

Bottom line, it is up to UN to enforce UN prohibited air space. The US/UK coalition is without major international backing.

He's in Sweden. You'd have to send Libyan Terrorists, which would hardly be all of them.

Well I'm not going to argue with eigher one of you on eigher of those things. In my oppnion the air, like the ocean, is every countries. No single country owns the air. I think it's completly redicilous of France to not allow us to fly in the air above their land it is their right, even though no country should have that right.

Good we will pack up Sadam and all the rest of his goons and all the terrorists and ship them off to Sweden. We will give them each enough cash to start over and tell them to do as they please in Sweden and we will not bother or stop them.

What gives me a chuckle is that this is about the god-knows-how-many-times this topic has been brought up and it always follows the same pattern. It goes on forever, it always goes round in circles, it always produces wildly contrasting opinions and people always get extremely emotive.

But what makes me laugh the most is the fact that you get educated men in their late 30's and 40's arguing with a kid whos fresh outa school with very little opinion except what their favourite 'busted' song is. Whereas, if the same two people met in the street, no such discussion would ever take place. But i guess thats the beauty of NP's, an opinion is an opinion, regardless of who says it.

My view is, discussing the rights and wrongs of the various wars here is not only irrelevant but a painful waste of everyones time.

We vote but we dont act. We have opinions but they are not heard. Our countries go to war and we argure the toss about it on a domain discussion web site. If anyone here has any real conscience and compassion then they should do something about it instead of pussying around. The rest, stfu.

Reasons of the PREVENTION WAR (PREVENTION WAR LOL, thats want bush said, how can a war be preventive, i will kill you if you dont agree with me.)

1. Mass distruction weapons (where are they)
2. Sadamm posible conection with BinLaden (not demonstrated)
..............

Real reasons:

Those big oil companyes that suported bush campain wanted some oil from Iraq so how can we take the oil at a great price, hmmm.. lets make a war, yeas great idear lets tell the world that we are killing some people because we ran out of oil, and after thousands of americans and innocent ppl die we will make some jokes about the mass destruction weaponds, like bush did).

If you make me choose a president for my country between this 2 as*holes i would choose BinLaden.

Why have you reelected bush?????
How can you do that?
Just for cheeper gas do u agree to kill some ppl???
I dont understand the americans that voted with bush!
I hope he will die soon and let the world in peace.

I didnt wanted to offend anyone!!!!!
If i did i hope they voted with bush.

George W. Bush (the elder) works for the Carlysle Group, which is why he was in Saudi Arabia and almost got killed by Saddam. He was there working for a private defense contractor company he is on the board of, along with Salaam Bin Laden (now off the board of Carlysle after 9/11).

Not only did Carlysle make Billions, but so has Halliburton, Dick Cheney's company. Dick Cheney is a signatory to a paper in 1997 (also online) calling to spread democracy in the middle east along with Donald Rumsfield (People for a New American Century). He has been an advocate for going into Iraq long before 9/11.

The reason why we American don't feel the effects of cheap oil is because of profiteering by those collecting the oil. Of course those who are getting the oil would not redaily pass the savings on, are you a fool? They are gouging the American people and running up deficits that should have us crying treason.

However, some Republicans in the Senate and Congress are finally wising up and have stopped drinking the Kool-Aid. While they are unfortunately going to press harder to the right on some issues than Bush campaigned on, they are also not going to cut Bush any slack from day one. They owe Cheney nothing as he is not running in '08, many have aspirations of their own, and their best bet is to make themselves look like an antidote to 8 years of Bush.

Bush's poll numbers will be tanking into the 30's by the end of 2005 I will wager - this time because of his own party drunk with power and a lame duck president in office (think Democrats in 1996 - only 10x worse because Democrats were out of power back then too), unless we conveniently have another incident to boost his poll ratings.
