The real reason for the War was not Oil. Bush isn't smart enough to think that far ahead. He hates Saddam Huiseen and wanted to screw him over. If it was about liberation, WRONG TIME, if it was about terrorism, WRONG COUNTRY, if it was about having WMDs, HE'S WRONG. Or Bush may be slightly smarter then we all think, could this have been because the rednecks (who support him) wanted a war somewhere? He knew that Iran would have been harder, and he sure as hell isn't going to do anything to the Royal Family, so Iraq just got the short straw?

I actually have noticed I've been getting more positive then negitive on posts in political threads like these. Thanks everyone

The local newspaper came out in support of Kerry after YEARS of supporting Repubs. I stopped getting that paper. If "you" choose to support someone thats un-American then I cant support "you".

So democratic is Un-American? Well I can only respond, thats true, and it's been that way since Bush got elected. But republican was Un-American 8 years before that.

So whatever happened to Bi-Partisan? As I saw in a speach by the president today he said something about that...

But that was about Social Sucurity.

Where is there freedom when thei have an ecomomic enbargo on their heads not letting them to strong up the economy????? I will tell you, for 1 country to go smooth other 3 must go wrong.

I totally agree with the iraq ppeople fighting the invazion forces!
I would do the same for my country and for my culture!

I do understand how Rep points work.

And we gave them the weapons so they could fight off RUSSIA who wanted to take over and make them another pasrt of their country. The US is there to give them their own freedom so they can rule themselves. From what I hear 90%+ of the peopel fighting now are terrorists. The others are loyalists to Sadam.

BTW they found another mass grave yesterday. 50+ bodys... But Sadam didnt do that or have it done did he?

Bush didn't go to Iraq to liberate the Iraqis, if thats what the war was about he would have gone in at the begining of his presidency.

Bush didn't go into Iraq because they were a threat to USA, because they were no threat at all to USA.

Bush didn't go into Iraq because they had WMD's, because they didn't, first intelligence report came back saying there wern't, he should have listened to that one because thats the one that was right. And if it was about WMD's he would have gone to another country, best choice would be Iran.

Bush went into Iraq because he hates Saddam Husieen.
