discuss Is there anyway to find out what domains are on back order at any of the registrars?

This thought has entered my mind several times in the years I have been doing this. I have even seen a name I liked and instead of offering to purchase I have put it on my back order list to get notified if it ever becomes available.
So is there anyway to find out what domains registrars have on their "watch list" or "back order list"?

I can only assume that those lists are private and only known to the user.
If there is a way to check on those lists I doubt it would be freely shared here in public.

I understand the privacy of someones personal list, but what I was thinking more in the way of a registrars list, not saying who wanted it, just that it was wanted. Kind of like a pre-registered list.
I guess that would all be privy to the registrars them selves.

Note that I understand your intentions not to be intruding. It's just that there is a lot at stake here.

Let's say someone spots a trend before anybody else and starts 'watching' or backordering a list of domains containing a certain keyword term... if that action was immediately known to any other domainer out there who is also 'watching' (not domains though but domaineers' watchlists)... can you imagine the chaos?
.. not that now things are fair but I could do without anyone watching where I lay my eyes on.
