Whois for backordering. Who has the back order?

Is there a way to tell if there is a back order for my domain name? If so, is there a way to find out who has the back order. This would help those domainers that are not going to renew a domain, be able to find the person who is interested in the domain.
Does anybody have any ideas?

Godaddy lets you see if anybody has a backorder with them, if you search for the domain on godaddy it'll say Not Available (X) if somebody's backordered it already, otherwise it'll say Backorder Now. This doesn't work with .uk domains.

As far as I know the other places don't let you know.

How do I find out who has placed the back order? My idea is that I would contact that person to try to sell the domain to. That way they know they will get the domain vs. someone else that has placed the back order.

AFAIK, there is no way to know who has placed a backorder- besides in an active auction at Snapnames, and by then your name has already been caught anyway. No dice.
