As labrocca has said the buyout has failed so the low end names are worthless. Of course there is still value higher up but they have declined very heavily, these are ultra risk names, expect either a very big gain or a very big loss going forward. I think the latter personally.

sure you know they are not all for sale at regfee. So there must be value
in some of them.

I think it's best one focuses on quality if you choose to go after them, rather than just going after them because they have 3 letters. Some people are having success approaching endusers, however that requires that you have LLL.mobis that endusers are interested in (eg probably means good letters and checking for potential endusers before registering the domains). Potential endusers have already had almost 3 years between sunrise and today to register .mobis they were interested in, so selling an enduser on an LLL.mobi may be easier said than done. Domainer demand is pretty much zero.

I went ahead and regged BGX.mobi & MXG.mobi since GoDaddy is having a $7 (or so) .mobi sale. Will these ever be worth anything? Only time will tell. I have the feeling that more companies will develop mobile-ready sites and short .mobis will be in demand. And if I'm wrong, well, then it was only about $15 wasted

Thanks for the list, sadly I can't pronounce one of them else I would have
regged it..
I think the list shows wich and how many LLL-mobis are above regfee,
and as I don't see many good LLL's for sale I assume many people see value
in those as an investment and hold on to them.
And another story is that with the upcoming of new extensions imo the
differences between the extensions will fade away c.q. will become less
important for the average internet user. In the future jungle of the extensions
it only counts that you will find what you are looking for, what do todays
kids know about extensions?
So, if I am searching for a joke on my desktop and I find it at
desktop.lol.mobi, who cares?
