The names on here are so garbage, its embarrassing.
Are expired auctions the only way to find good names for sale?

That's not the problem really. End users usually don't do window shopping. They will go after one precise domain name they already have in mind, and possibly a shortlist of possible alternatives. Maybe a few will search a keyword and try their luck (and compare prices), but this isn't typical....
The problem is not in the names but in the fact that in an ocean of lousy names it is close to impossible to find the good ones.
What majority offer sellers here is annoying. All in the name of reseller prices. I would rather keep my names for years to sell fairly
I don't care is a domain is listed for $1 or $1M.
I am just making the observation; the quality of domains for sale on this forum has really dropped off.
Can anyone argue that?
People generally list things here the have chosen to get rid..People aren’t going to give their best names away..
There is a huge difference in selling at wholesale prices or selling at reseller prices .. i am in resell for close to 40 years ( in Europe and here in the USA ) and whole is when people buy for pennies on the dollar , where resell prices are generally 50 percent of what retail prices are , at least when selling furniture, collectibles, books , antiques , art , real estate , cars ect . . With Domains it should be the same thing ... would not make any sense if not ...
Disagree a bit, reseller price usually can't be more than 10% of end user price as things stand.

this remind me of an outbound I did recently, i offered 950..buyer offered 250..then i accept..
after accepting buyer said he did not mean to add zero ... that he meant $25
right there and then i concluded in my mind that i will rather renew this domain than to sell it that low...
what do buyer take we for?
