When domain buyers ask for names registered in multiple extensions, most of the time the names are trademarked somewhere by one or multiple companies.

Are we allowed to submit those names? Or only names registered in multiple extensions but not trademarked by any company should be submitted?

Will selling a name to another investor or buyer be considered as IP infringement?

Hello,

Here's the official rule regarding Trademark listings: 6.1.15. Do not infringe on the intellectual property (“IP”) rights of another party, which includes typographical errors (“typos”) of globally-recognized trademarks. Selling IP or benefiting from globally-recognized IP of another party is strictly prohibited unless permitted by law (e.g., with their permission or it is a review website).

Without being able to review a specific domain being offered, it's hard to know for sure. The best person to ask for legal advice, is consulting a licensed IP attorney, which generally provides 1 free consultation.

As for legal related questions and topics, you may find more accurate answers in one of the following legal sections on NamePros, which is also frequented by members with IP experience:
We hope that information helps.
