.tv Is the .tv market dead?

How are you guys finding the .tv market these days? Are you guys making any sales or are you finding it dead? Or at least in the reseller market as there are a few enduser sales popping up here & there.

Personally I'm finding this to be the case. Or maybe it's just this time of year....

Is domaining dead?

No but prices are down and a lot more effort must go into selling nowadays. I am still making nice profit considering this is a part time hobby for me.

It's already hard enough to sell good .com.

No, the dot tv market is not dead at all.

I reached out to a few buyers who contacted me erlier in the year and I just sold a name for $5k, it closed on X-mas day. :)
and I see b2b has a post underneath this post where he just sold a name for $15k!

The Holidays are always notorious for less sales.

People are busy spending money for Holiday gifts, parties, and travel.

I have family over right now, and still have parties to attend myself but when things slow down, I will send the info to Ron and write a quick story on my own site also.

I am sure after the holidays It will pick up again and we will see more great sales.

Good Luck to all and have an awesome New Year!

The fact that another speculator is willing to pick up your drops doesn't mean .TV is hot but perhaps it means there is a resale market developing.

Looking at .TV pickups the last few days it appears we have increased interest in the extension. Many drops I would have no interest in registering are being picked up on the drop. Three names I let drop because I decided they were either so-so keywords or weren't a great fit with .TV were all picked up. So while .TV may not be an easy end user flip, perhaps it is getting easier to at least resell a domain for $50 than a few years ago.

I think its definitely slower, but that is also due to time of year I feel..
