Perfectly legit, they are just checking it is yours.

I take it the domain in the email is one you have listed, cache?

If so, go ahead and reply.

yes, it is my domain. My only concern is the whois does not match that of sedo.com. To me it does not make sense to use different domains to confuse your customers.

thanks.

The whois of sedo.com and sedo.co.uk are different because they are incorped as diff entities in each country and different registry rules.

Ascio Technologies is a company that manages ccTLD domain names and trademarks for businesses. I am under the assumption that Sedo is utilizing their services.

Safe enough - I have received the same message once before - You can either follow their instructions or just give it a couple of more days - I did'nt reply to the one I got and it worked a few days later.

If it was a scam, I think we would have realised by now! It would be a big scam.

i have been paid everymonth for a few years..

you can see all the different extensions at sedo.us

edit: they send those emails to confirm youa re the owner of the domain(s) listed in your account (to keep the for sale listings clean and not wasting everyones time)

It is legit and it is a pain in the rear; however, I think it is really good that they are actually checking to make sure that you own the domain before they let you list it.

Sedo

I have gotten many of these letters from Sedo. Sedo.com was Sedo.de before, they are Sedo.co.uk. Basically, they are worldwide. Besides, all they are asking for is an email from you.
