I wanted to find out who owned MacroFlux.com and here is what I found.
http://www.afternic.com/name.php?domain=macroflux.com&ref_id=31680

But the weird thing is I have talked to the seller on afternic many times on the phone. (Nameprodigy)

I was looking up whois info the other day and noticed that Pfizer was the registrant of a (.us premium) domain that has nothing to do with any product (or potential product) of theirs. I'm not sure how many others they may have.

What was the domain? My grandmother worked at Warner Lambert, which was somehow acquired by Pfizer, I guess a buyout or merger, I don't know the details, but I know they made bubble gum, Certs, and some other weird products you wouldn't expect a pharmacutical company to make, so you never know.

I can't recall off the top of my head, but it was a LLL.us that is a word. There is also United Health Group who is the registrant of TOP.us--probably having to do with the fact they are tops in giving back-dated stock options :)

Just reverse IP'd pfizer.com. The same computer hosts 1067 domains. I didn't see any three letter .us, but I did find these:

cns.biz (Central Nervous System?)
otc.biz (over the counter?)
wl.com (Warner-Lambert?)

Most of there domains seem to be drug names or versions of them. They also have a number of generic domains related to their industry. Here are a few I found interesting:

4times-a-year.org (a number and two hyphens)
aboutsmartsex.net
alzheimer.biz
cancerresource.net
cataractinfo.com
coldrelief.biz
diarrheahelp.com
eardrops.us
endoportal.ws (A .WS)
enema.us
feeling-blue.com
girlfriendsforlife.org (Odd choice for them)
hormones.biz
laxatives.us
leakage.com
lotion.info
no-pill.net
phacts.org
pharmacia.ws (spanish language .WS)
sniffels.info
strides.us
syrup.info
tablets.biz
vitamins.biz
vyktra.com
vyktrasucks.com (They have a bunch of sucks versions of this name)
wemakeit.com
wetting.com
youfirst.org
z-11.com (letter, hyphen, number combo)
