Is it time for an official TRADEMARK thread???

It seems that people are constantly trying to get trademark domain names appraised.

I think perhaps a sticky should be made on this forum or something.

or perhaps something in the forum guidelines.

I am getting very frustrated of all the Trademark domains. This should be like domaining 101.

This is a great community & I am not suggesting that we punish these people but it seems like we need something else out there to save time & money for people.'


I just felt like I needed a mini rant. please feel free to add.

I will agree that the amount of TM domains asking for appraisal has risen over the past couple of months. I think some of it is due to the wave of newbies on the boards.

But I disagree that NP's should have an "official" TM Appraisal forum. Most noob's don't know or understand what a TM domain is.

If the do, and they go looking for an appraisal, then getting the "TM domain - grace period delete" appraisal from vets and others is somewhat helpful advice - so long as they take the advice and dont come back to the appraisal forum with another TM.

I am not asking for an "OFFICIAL TM forum". I don't know if I am misunderstanding you or you are misunderstanding me lol.

Just asking for more red flags for noobs to help them avoid it. Perhaps a basic FAQ or something about appraisals & domains.
