Ok, so I own a domain that gets alot of traffic, whenever I forward this domain to another website, this causes a huge drop in it's alexa ranking. But this doesn't necessarily help with google ranking.

My question is: Does geting traffic through Domain forwarding have any downside?
Could google see this as bad?
How to do it right?

Is the domain relevant to the site you're forwarding too? If not, you might want to think about cloaking it rather than just setting up a forward within your registrar. If the domain does have any juice on it then setting it up as a permanent redirect would have SEO effect.

I'm not really sure how the Alexa stuff works, or if their system can tell the domain is being forwarded. At one time I think if you were to Alexa a domain that was being forwarded, it would actually give you the Alexa ranking of the forwarded domain.

The only way I could see it as potentially being bad is if the domain has spammy links coming into it, if it's relevant, and how it's being redirected. Google is looking primarily at whether the domain is temporarily redirected (it won't pass any juice) or whether it's permanently redirected (it will pass the juice)
