Sorry if I am a little ignorant on past transactions, but seeing the $500 premium transfer to another company aside from the $9250 sale is reassuring to all of us who have regged premiums for speculative purposes.....

So is this the first one, or have there been others - and if there has what has been the highest premium transfer??

Thanks in advance for all responses

Check this one out, under the terms of the .tv rules the transfer is equilivent to a years renewal i.e $500 for "get dot tv" but when i went to transfer it into another .tv account it was just $50 so i presume its just $50 for any premium .tv as long as it goes into another .tv account which the buyer opened free.

I hope this helps !

Yup that is true and thats one of those things that one may not know unless he/she talks to .tv corp.

It seems transfer fee is ony 50$ now and thats really a good news for us.

On the other hand, I am getting fed up with .tv corp showing names available that are not and not available that are.

If what you guys are saying is true, then if I was to sell IT.TV, which costs me $3000 a year, to a company for lets say $20,000 and then transfer that name to a .TV account for the new owner, are you saying that the new owner would pay a $3,000 transfer fee and then every year after that a $50 renewal fee?? And never again need to pay a $3000 yearly fee???

No Miller. Imo, the transfer fee is only reduced to 50$ for any premium or non premium name. Not the renewal fee.
