.tv A lot going on, make sure you understand everything

First there is the auction of 115 premium .tv that Mark Klein from SEDO commented on Everything.tv that reserve prices would be below $5000 and standard renewal.

Last night an email went out from ENOM offering the opportunity to reg names from the premium list without premium renewal.

Today there was a glitch that allowed premium names to be regged for no premium on other registrars. I was just on the phone with someone who called me asking about tonight, went to Godaddy and handregged $1000 premium name he wanted.

Now everyone who regged names is worried. Technically all registrars have a 30 day window to cancel a registration and refund the price. No one knows what will happen, anyone telling you they "KNOW" not opinion but "KNOW" is not true.

Hopefully you will all keep these names.

The premium list got frozen and ENOM sent another email today telling people to be by their computers at 9 pm Pacific 4 am GMT.

Premiums should be available again.

ENOM.tv has had a redesign and has some bugs right now.

Were all the premiums available for a moment? Or just a few LOL! If the email went out stating they were available, how is it a glitch? When will we be able to grab a few

My answer; I honestly have no idea ... but I'm suspecting something here is greatly amiss and/or overlooked and/or not planned well and/or miscommunications IMHO.

Whoever made that call Jeff is an absolute fool. There is nothing amiss, after years of people asking or demanding this. Verisign is waking up, they paid people $100 Amazon Gift Card in 2008 just to get the info in a survey they paid for.

No Marlowe not all the premiums were available, for example your niche Photographer.tv was not able to be regged at another registrar.

9pm pacific Marlowe check your computer that's when ENOM said be at your computer.

No Jeff I don't know why they finally woke up but they did, the 2008 survey is a reference point.

Not sure a lot on the list are worth anything. 55,000 names a lot. Many will not be worth the upfront registration.
