Is featured listing with Sedo worth trying?

I have quite a few good domains which struggle to get a bid either on namepros or DNF.

For example, I think LLLL.com like pyou, com or boyf, com should get offers as these are rare domains and similar domains sold for xxxx-xxxxx. People even don't want to put offer xxx in those forums.

I am now thinking of featured listing at sedo even though it is a bid costly.

What other options do you recommend???

Not unless your domain is phenomenal. And frankly, the examples you listed are not worth it. In my opinion.

No, if your name is phenomenal it will sell itself! In fact, Sedo will give you a whole load of promo for free!

Thanks for your input.

By the way, I think L + 3 letter word is worth at least high xxx - xxxxx. Recently there was an auction on ebay and domain was qbay.com and bidding was upto $5000 - $6000 twice and reserve not met.

Also qmen.com sold for xxxx recently.

I previously thought featured listing is worth trying for xxxx worth domains but now I will think more deeply.

Agree with Justin. It's not goona be worth it unless you're domain is worth a great deal of $$$$$

Let me put it this way.

I put a domain on the 'Featured' section, it has had over 1,800 views and not one offer of the $60 minimum, and that cost me $69. I list the domain on here and at DNF and I have had 3 offers (admittedly not near my price but all have been in the $xxx-$x,xxx range), and listing them on the forums cost me nothing!

Now which do you think is the better deal?

I would not list short domains on Sedo as Featured. People looking to buy them generally perform searches for short domains and come to you to buy them. In my experiences with Sedo Featured listings, you'll get, as TheBaldOne mentioned, a tremendous number of views, but probably not many serious offers.

I have never tried it and according to what you all said, it will be only good for xxxxx-xx,xxxx worth domains?

Those domains you listed are considered, atleast in my eyes, typos. Which in return would be worth the $xxxx range if the traffic was good. Names like BoyF.com are not comparable to qBay.com(eBay.com) or qMen.com(Xmen.com) IMO of course ;).

As for the original question, i would have no clue but to be honest if the name is good enough it should fetch the minimum $60 bid. Just my 2 cents though;)
