Say for example a good keyword is available for a less known ccTLD,
(say .tc,Turks and Caicos Islands.) should I invest in it.
I am afraid to invest any money because may be the money is blocked and nobody is interesting in buying that domain.
consider that restrictions do not apply for registration.
what are your suggestions.

Research reported sales in that extension. That should tell you if the extension is popular.

For example .cc (Cocos Islands) has approx. 600 residents.
Since there is no local market it's just a vanity extension.

There is a reason those good keywords are still available - no one wants them in that extension.

Some ccTLDs also have residency requirements and others are very expensive.

i find the best indicator is to do a search in google for say site:.tc/ and see how many + what kind of results come back; if it's only 2 million and most of it is spam or bad sites then avoid.

.tc is a pretty bad anyways because it's been picked up by spammers / hackers / malware since they're so cheap at moniker.

regards!

Cost of cctld is the most important thing to look at, then whether or not it has restrictions.
Like someone said before, do some research on that cctld.
Good luck.

You should invest in good domains and avoid the bad ones. ;)
