Increasing domain value?

Other than developing (I'm getting ready to have somone put a single page mini site up) what are some ways to increase value especialy from an end-user point of view. I'm going to use adsense, basic SEO (comes with the minisite package) and search engine submission to as many search engines as I can. (90ish with web CEO) are there any other cheap ways (around $20 total) to increase value? (paid traffic, paid orgainic traffic, buying some ppc ads, etc...)

I'm trying to get the domain value up as far as I can (cheaply) before I buy an appraisal. The domain is disabledactors.com and estibot says $1,600 ( domain alone) it's currently parked at sedo with 77 views and no clicks. (it's only been parked 3 or 4 days)

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

To get more traffic, a good thing to do is to post in the NP incentives, and pay for stumbles. That will get you good traffic to start with. But for the most part when someone gives you an appraisal, the mini site wont be a factor. Just the domain. Unless it has a PR, or alexa ranking which take some time to get.

good points. yes, you should get stumbled, directory submission, unique content, some seo work etc....I am always curious how much effect page rank will have in the value of name ..

Page Rank does add some value, because for those looking to develop the name after they buy it, they know that google has indexed the name, it has been around for some time, and for those selling links on the site, you are able to raise the text link cost based on the PR. Although with the new no follow policy, it may be a fading trend, sadly :(

of course, the best appraiser tool are comprised by humans not software. though software are tools used as a guide.
