Never regged a .in before and i was wondering of the value. Are 3 letter names valuable?

There are still loads of good 1 word names for grabs .IN .CO.IN .

As stated in earlier posts, lots of company's are outsourcing their work and business to India. As far as manufacturing goes IMO anything manufacturing related .IN .CO.IN will do well in the next few years.

Yep there is a lot of business one word, dictionary and available ones.

idotz.net and resellers.co.in both take Paypal - I've used them both and would recommend either Kerrijo.

Ok thanks, didn't see your reply till just now. I just regged ODC.in (offshore developement center etc.) at dotbob.com and also a NNN.in but that one failed though they charged my paypal. I hope they give me my money back. Not sure if they do transfers either hmmmmm.

Are both those companies names easy to manage? I mean transferring ownership of names etc. Not so sure on this dotbob.com but their .in names are $14.98 USD.

Go with www.resellers.co.in Pranik is a good chap and a namepros member i personally have over 200 names registered with him and no problems at all. My indian domain marketplace has link partnered wth his company due to his full on professionalism. -DB- also mentioned resellers and he knows i wouldnt put my name to a service if i didnt think it was good.

I don't recommend ReSellers.co.in to register .co.in domains

I registered ipod.co.in at resellers.co.in and still struggling to change NameServers. I think one of our another NP member is also struggling. I sent a mail to support team of Resellers.co.in.

I sent a PM to him. Nothing works. Their control panel is very wired. I never recommend them. Don't go with individuals who run business expecially in domain/hosting industry.

I don't recommend ReSellers.co.in to register .co.in domains

still struggling to change NameServers.

how hard is it, heres a walkthrough simple stuff really.

1. go to www.resellers.co.in and log in <-- important

2. click on my account

3. click on the domain you wish to change (Click here to Manage the Domain Registration properties for xxxx.in or .co.in>>

4. you will see a host of buttons along the top and one is called modify nameservers.

5. put in the new nameservers you wish clicked submit and job done.!!

Unless you have hit a bug i have changed nameservers regular with no problems. I suggest you give Pratik a pm here on namepros.

Dongan, I'm sorry that you have experienced an issue with their site, but I want to second the opinion of my good man Steve/Tips. I have used Resellers.co.in for almost a year now, have registered 100+ domains there, and have only good things to say about them.

Any company or interface is going to experience a few problems or bugs, but their level of service and support has been excellent overall. I have no complaints. Pratik is a good guy, running a good business.

As for the control panel, well.. I experience a lost feeling whenever I use a registrar I haven't used before, but like anything else I get accustomed to it after a short while, and it becomes second nature to me.

www.whiz.in also takes www.Paypal.com . Whiz is a member here also. I use them alot, no problems.

Agreed 100%. I have many domains at Resellers.co.in also. Never a problem. I use both Resellers & Whiz. Both are members here, and both give great service. As stated above, the whole interface is new, but so are the domains. You can't reg them just anywhere, expecially for .net.in, .org.in, etc. They just improved the websites.
