.us Do you guys see any value in 4 letter .us

I was just wondering if anyone saw any potental value in a four letter ,us domain.

More importantly, 3 letter .us are all gone, and pronouncable 4 letter .net's and .org's and especially .com's have been gone for a while also.

Why? Because they seem too short, and theyre not verry popular.
If it was a .org or .net or .com, its good... but i just don't like .us domains, unless its like about a state or a town...

I mean, if it was computer or landscaping or whatever... then it doesn't go with the .us theme.

I see nothing wrong with a .us Domain, if I could I'd prob. own a few, they are ideal for any US biz.

I think the .us is a fairly strong extension here in the .US. Obviously, unlike the .com, .net and .org's of the world, it's much more limited to a US audience.

With all that being said, I don't think 4 letter .us names are there yet. I think there is the potential for some value but right now, unless you're talking good combos(pronounceable, words, etc) it's not really worth it - certainly not even to the level of 4 letter .com's.

A while back I sold a 4 letter word for just under the 1k mark (I'm not telling the name). That was before my intense research of the .us and now more recently other cctlds <plug - which I plan on going into extensively in my new blog listed in my sig below - GlobeDomains.com> :notme: ... if I still had that particular name... first of all, I don't even think I would sell it... but if I did.. I could without a doubt get quadruple what I originally accepted... if not more. The proof is there... the buyers are there... the value IS there.
