Hi everybody. Let me explain the situation and see if someone can help me with this.

I have a domain regged at Godaddy. I recently joined an affiliate program where you can have your own (gambling related) co-branded website. So my domain.com (after creating logos, selecting colors etc.) is now a casino website and I will get commisions form players that sign up from my website.

So far so good, but...

The affiliate company gave me their nameservers to point my domain to, something that I did from the Godaddy control panel. But the problem now is that I cannot control my domain.com anymore (e.g. I cannot receive emails) and when I asked the affiliate company to make the appropriate changes (something related with mx or a records) they told me this is difficult since they have so many domains there and other excuses.

Anyway, I decided to host only the first page of my co-branded website (just the start page) to a webhosting provider (in order to be able to receive email, see traffic logs etc.) and when surfers press the "enter" button on that page to be redirected to the co-branded website (that is hosted for free by the affiliate company). The problem however is that I don't know how to do this...

Do I have to simply create a link? E.g. when surfers press the "enter website" button to be forwarded to the hosted co-branded website (but is this good for search engines?) Also is there any way my URL to stay all the time in the address bar?

Do I have to create a subdomain (cname, or it's not the same?) And again is this a good solution for search engines?

What should I do? or better how can I do this? :-/

Thank you very much for your help and ideas in advance! :tu:

If you have your Email account also at GD, here is the solution:

Set your domain to GD default servers.
Set at GD the masked forwarded option with KEYWORDS and METATAGS (for SEO) and as forwarded URL the affiliate site.

Result is:
Users go directly to the affiliate site without having to click "ENTER", and you still can use your GD email.
This solution is easy, but a bit SEO unfriendly.

Here is another solution w/o the "ENTER" button. This one has 100% same effect as the first one, but is a little SEO friendlier.
Set up the following HTML at your index site (edit the metas and text to fix your site):

-------------------------
<head>
<title>TiTLE OF YOUR SITE</title>
<meta name="description" content="DESCRIPTION OF YOUR SITE" />
<meta name="keywords" content= "keyword1, keyword2, keyword3, etc" />
<meta http-equiv="rating" content="General" />
<meta http-equiv="expires" content="never" />
<meta http-equiv="charset" content="ISO-8859-1" />
<meta http-equiv="="distribution"" content="Global" />
<meta http-equiv="robots" content="INDEX,FOLLOW" />
<meta http-equiv="revisit-after" content="31 Days" />
<meta http-equiv="author" content="YOURSITE.com" />
</head>
<frameset cols="*">
<noframes>
<body>
<p>PUT HERE SOME KEYWORD RICH TEXT AND SOME LINKS</a></p>
</body>
</noframes>
<frame name="main" noresize="noresize" src=
"http://www.youraffiliateurl.com"
scrolling="auto" id="main" />
</frameset>
</html>
