Is it advisable to buy certain extensions to redirect to the .com to increase traffic? Such as GccTLD's? And other new TLD's like .shop, .company, etc..

You can but most people will always type in the .com address anyway

If the com has been established then people are already typing that in, unless you want to buy other extensions for brand protection

What if a majority of the traffic is being redirected from Search Engines? The domain is curatedclothingcompany.com currently, which is a bit long, trying to possibly rebrand to a shorter name and in regards to the GccTLD's, have them redirect to the .com site, not use it as the main site.

You could get a ccTLD for the sake of url shortening, say you run ebusiness.com, you could buy e.bz for posting links of products on social media. But owning ebusiness.ca won't help your .com much unless you run your business differently in that certain country
