I don't know why anyone would be interested in .asia. As far as I can tell it is an extension for no one. Who exactly are the "asians" referred to in this extension? Are they chinese? japanese? malaysians? filipinos? Anyone interested in IDN are much better off betting on second tier .com/.net/ or ccTLDs.

If you mean that .asia is useful for non-asians who do not live in "asia" and know nothing about asia, I guess I don't care enough to really disagree with that. Anyone who knows anything about "asia" wouldn't be typing in a .asia extension.
