I own the future president of Russia's full name .net and .org, as well as I own his surname.mobi.

One may ask, how do I know ??

Forgot to tell, in Russia its just like that, everybody knows its Medvedev:), the one who is appointed by Putin, so please suggest.

Where do you think is the best place to park them, because soon there will be tons of visitors?

Or if you are too pessimistic, simply lets suppose he won, where to park ????

You'll bearly make any money at all with that name because Slavonic names don't earn much PPC from parking companies, Russian speakers will search for the IDN using the azbuka, and people from America, and the rest of the world won't be able to spell it in either alphabet because it's not particularly phonetic (to us.)

And his legal people might claim that he has got a right to the domain but you haven't.

CoolMark

CoolMark, thanks, but still, they are now parked on Sedo, and I do not think it is the most "u-la-la" place:) What would be your advice ?

It's difficult to say where to park them, the other parking companies I've tried are all a bit naff with mainland European words, they're even worse than sedo.

I earn virtually nothing from domains in other languages even though I know they get plenty of traffic, and mine are highly searched generic words, not politicians' names.

What can advertisers sell that will pay for the clicks? We had squeaky dog toys that looked like Reagan and Thatcher during their reigns, I don't know if you can get that kind of thing in Russia.

Maybe someone will write a book about him, or an agitprop band could make a CD or T-shirt but until then I can't see any clicks being particularly lucrative.

I could be wrong though, and I wish you the best of luck with them.

I didn't quite understood CoolMark's points about azbuka and phonetics. AFAIK, Russian people use latin letters in URLs, just like the whole world. So Medvedev.com is a very cool domain, though Medvedev.ru would be better of course... but it's taken by some doctor Medvedev :)))

IDN's have been available for a long time now and it is common to see sites with Cyrillic URL's. An IDN is an International Domain Name and they can be made using letters and charactors from other languages.

Our Roman alphabet needs more than one letter to make the Russian sounds for the 'e' s in his name, so a person who hears his name may not be able to spell it as accurately as a Russian speaker would..

A Russian speaker might find it easy and would imagine that everyone else may do as well, but there are a lot of people who are not at all familiar with the Russian language.

I think these factors may decrease the search popularity of his name when compared to politicians from other countries.

I could be wrong though.

(яндекс) Yandex Score looks pretty good, and could get much better.

Where can I find Слова Показов on that site? That could be very useful.
