Within the past few months, I've invested some of my money in purchasing the following domains:

1. beneathyourbeautiful.com
2. boysroundhere.com
3. emp3down.net
4. enregle.com
5. text.sx

For numbers 1 and 2, I purchased them because of high search query volumes due to the fact that they are names of songs. I noticed that some people do this, is this a good idea?

For number 3, the previous owner was selling it for $1 USD so I decided to buy it because it has an Alexa ranking of 2 million something and thought it was a good deal.

For number 4, I registered it because I was thinking about making a business out of it.

For number 5, it seemed like a valuable one-word ccTLD so I registered it. But I'm not sure if people will be confident in the domain extension .sx.

I've currently listed these domains on Sedo. What do you guys think I should with them? And do you think what I've been doing are good domaining practices, or should I change my thought process on this? Thanks!

I don't think 3-5 have any value, and 1-2 have no commercial value. I can't see any business running their business from 1-2. So that leaves them in the personal sphere, where prices are usually quite low. You might get something from parking them, but probably not a lot. Yes. You need to change your thought processes. You need to think commercial. Would a business want to run their business from my domain, and how much would they pay for it.

Try to get some traffic if you can by submitting the domains to search engines. Yes, there is some work involved but may be get a general site where you can route the traffic to a single page.
1 and 2 - Good keywords as you mentioned but its just a song name.
3 - If i think as a general user the site might cater to mp3 music (audio) and there might be some traffic is it was a dropped domain. On the other hand, if it had value than why would the seller sell it for $1?
4 - French origin word which means in order. I can't think of any niche market it can cater too.
5 - Good one word domain and would have good keyword search.

Google does not concentrate on prioritising any domain extensions and it has been a while but still .com has captured the major market however there are some ccTLD's you will widely see confined to the geographical location which makes it difficult to make it global as of now instead of unique content, good SEO and ads.

Try and find an appraiser and see what value it indicates for domain names or see the response you get from Sedo.
