What do I do?

I have a small portfolio of about 30 domains. And I have them parked at Whypark.

Now one person has since inquired about the pruchase of one of my domains. But all they entered was their name, e-mail and phone number, but left the comment box completely empty.

So I guess it's up to me to make the first move. Now, I'm not going to list the domain, but I can tell you it's probably only worth $xx. So what should I do?

I mean, do I ask, "So, how much were you looking to pay me?" lol, I'd feel a bit silly doing that. But that may be just what I have to do. I don't know, that's why I'm here asking you guys.

And then let's say it did sell, is there a step-by-step guide I can do to make this an actual transaction? How I *give* him the domain?

Never done this before. I need to learn. Teach me please! :hehe:

how about something like,

"hi name, whypark has recently informed me of your interest in one of my domain names, domain.ext, however the comment field was left blank. please make an offer if you're still interested, as i believe this domain is great for _____.

yours truly,
mild"

as for making the actual transaction, i'm sure there are some guides here on the forums. you will likely be paid through paypal first, and then you will go to your registrar and push the domain to the buyer's account, or get the auth code for the domain (from your registrar) and give it to the buyer so they can transfer the domain to another registrar.

I think you may have to play 'domain name chicken' - no need to Wiki - I just invented it - either send blank message back with same header
or
message them with the equivelent of "yep its still available" and see if you can prompt them to make you an offer...

I reckon its always a mistake to say 'I won't take any less than $???.??' as the other guy is bound to be thinking "gee I was gonna offer him 5X that!"
