You know, your foul mouth is unprofessional and also getting a bit tiresome IMHO ... here's another recent thread that you started here in this section:

Rep Me Up Like A Whore! Aljazeera Goes Mobi! Whoooaaaahhh

As far as these "news" posts (we've been down this road before) and potential "corporate" sightings, there are two stickies atop the #1 Namepros .MOBI Forumβ„’ where these posts should be directed in the future, as well. :gl:
Thank you for understanding.

Is HSBC (besides simply redirecting their possibly defensive .MOBI registration to the referenced .COM site) actively developing their .MOBI domain ... and are their significant plans to then promote it, as well? IYHO. :gl:

It may be that HSBC plans to develop/use/promote the .MOBI ... but simply because the domain name is registered that doesn't necessarily mean they are bullish on either the extension, or its future IMHO. Please substantiate, specifically, why this is such "good news" - and why you should thus be awarded Rep. points! :|

Appreciate any insight (and thanks for keepng things clean, as well).

"Is HSBC actively developing their .MOBI domain ... and are their significant plans to then promote it?"

its not what they do now. the banking sector is going to to follow the trends to get the bankers and if mobile banking takes off and BOFA leads the way, it'll be "BOFA see, HSBC do."

Jeff,

It seems your criteria for "good mobi news" must somewhere contain promotion of the extension by the company in question. Do you feel that it's not good news unless this is done? Agreeing with mjnels, I'll take Arnie's light hearted and impish behavior over your repetitive posts anytime. Lighten up, man!

Arnie....carry onward. You're unique "style" is obviously appreciated by the majority ....your rep awaits you

Yes...but it's a company secret and I cant talk about it in public because competitors may pick up on it...shhhhhhhhh

:lala:

I do understand why some people greet such an announcement with mild skepticism... For what it's worth, hsbc.cc also redirects to the .com.

Nevertheless, I must say that I'm quite impressed with the level of .mobi adoption we've seen throughout the financial industry and we can only hope to see other industries follow suit.

BOFA.mobi, as I've said, is significant ... because it's a developed .MOBI that at least is being promoted on the BankOfAmerica.com website, IMHO. It's newsworthy! :yell: :imho:

I don't see how reserved for Reg. fee $Xx and undeveloped β„’ HSBC.mobi in any way merits a "newsworthy" post, in my view. And then asking for Rep. points .... geesh.
Obviously there are lots of .MOBI Supportersβ„’ here backing up Arnie and his antics ... but for me, I'd like to see a little more .MOBI SubstanceΒ© (and less vulgar words, as well)! :imho:

Thanks again.

I think its good that Arnie pointed this out, I wasn't aware of HSBC.mobi. I only think it's good to know because HSBC is one of the biggest banks in the world, and they are VERY international as well.

i think there are a couple of points there that are getting jumbled. when you say reg fee and undeveloped, do you mean its not a significant showing of a trademark holder to spend less than 100 just to protect themselves and/or small investment to the future? I think this is a logical, but narrow view. We're in the infancy of the extension and we don't know what HSBC is planning behind he scenes, if they are. key is they have their name and they may be scheming. 20 other banks have their names, some may be scheming. the more the better.

along other lines, imho, you overuse the :imho: way too frequently. its like your the ned flanders of namepros. and you want clean word-a-didilies as well, huh.. his words are hardly vulgar, but i say he can use whore and bitch as long as you :imho: and recently even iyho all over the place in your posts. just my :imho:
