I would value your suggestions, help, and advice on how best to sell a 150 domain name portfolio in a hurry? Comprising if mainly dot coms and a few nice aged domains.

Thanks

Selling portfolios is not easy. Ask a low enough price.

Really boils down to what you've got. Maybe you've got a handful that an investor may buy, at the right price (if you're really willing to compromise on a low price). Stick them on the sell section...

Maybe auction it or maybe a broker can help you. Then again even if a broker does help you, it will take time to sell it. It sounds like you need money fast.

I'm curious to know what an extreme discount is in this industry. 50%, 70%, 80%

You can't even sell portfolio even if you take the time so sell them in a hurry is impossible.

I have approx 40 names left on my list after selling some and deleting the crappy ones. They were on Afternic but I have since moved them on to Sedo.
If you want to see these, I could email them to your website.

Definitely stay away from the epik itself and any epik services! @papeter

Did you see the date I posted? June 2022 - 2,5 years ago - long before Epik started to have problems. NameLiquidate was an excellent source for the names back then.
Not that I care, but like this you can disagree and dislike many comments starting from 2005...

@VadimK I was a bit distracted and didn't check the dates, sorry about that..

Investors usually pay 1-2% of the retail value of domains, even less if they aren't listed on any brandable marketplaces like Atom or Brand Bucket. Liquidating domains is not worth it because any domain that an investor picks up is likely worth keeping.

Better to get a part time job imo.

1) price it fairly based on market rates for portfolios
2) don't let anyone cherry pick individual domains for cheap
