How to sell domain name?

how do you sell the domain name after you've got the person who wants to buy it? im not very sure how people do this, do they have to have an account on the same registrar for you to transfer the ownership/control? also how do you transfer the money safely ? please help, thanks for all replies

If you read the FAQ at the place where you registered the domain, it should tell you what the process is. If you registered the domain less than 60 days ago then you cannot transfer the domain to another registrar, you would have to get the buyer to sign up for an account with your registrar and then transfer like that.

As for payment, you can use PayPal, but I like Nochex as there is chargeback protection and they only charge 20p per credit card transaction. There is also Escrow, https://www.escrow.com/support/faq/index.asp?sid=2&qid=14

well pal it depends on who is your registrant.different registar have different ways to transfer it.
