How do I sell domain?

I want to know more about domain sales. So I have few questions:

1. how do i sell a domain name? For instance, after i sell a name, how do I transfer it to the buyer.
2. Is there any good tool to check available domains?
3. Does the domain has to have website, or can I just sell the name I just purchased?

I'm not extremely experienced in this field, but I'll do what I can.

1. As for transfering a name to the buyer, it will depend on what registrar you are using. On most, you can do a free push to another user's account on that registrar.

2. If you just want to check if a domain is available, you can use
PcNames , a regular whois , or just a registrar .



3. By no means does there have to be a website with the sale. Feel free to just sell the domain (what most people do). If you want to dev, or develop, a site and sell it. It will be worth more, considering you did a good job.
