How to sell a parked domain!

:santa: I really want to sell some of my domains but have never done so yet. I am a little nervous to be taken advantage of. I am not sure on how to do it successfully with no problems. If some one would post the steps on how to sell a domain fast and easy. Where do I start? How do I recieve money through paypal? Do I recieve info from buyer or do I send info to him? How to do a "push" through godaddy? Please help with a step by step process. Should I post the domain names on the auction page? I would like to hear from domainers with experience in selling. :santa:

Hi,

Step1: Find a seller willing to buy your domain and make a deal in a certain price.

Step2: Create a paypal account(www.paypal.com) if you donot have one. Give your email address(which you registered with paypal) to the buyer for sending the money. Ask for the customer ID and email address from buyer's godaddy account.

Step3: After the money is received in your paypal. Login to your godaddy account and click on "Domain Manager". Select the domain you are selling and click on "account change". Type the account ID/name and email of the buyer on the form and click on "next". On the next page, Select "I accept the .... " and click on "Finish".
That's it. :sold:
Tell the buyer to accept the domain by logging into his account.

you may need to be careful , it is not that easy steps for successful and safe sale , with respect to the suggestions made above,

you can get scammed easy, with a direct sale with someone you don't know, if it is someone here or in a forum with good reputation and trade points and the sale is not a big sale then it is ok to do that , but if it is a good domain name and the price is big , best way to go is escrow services , there is cheap services like sedo 3% or you can shop for others,

i don't want to scare you, but it happened before you can search in the forum for cases.

about worrying if the domain worth more , than what the offer is , there is sections of appraisals in this forum , other guys that have long experience in domain business can advise you, god help them they do it for free ,
