How to reach the male adult market?

Hi,

I have a business idea which I think fits this market:

Potential customer:
1. Male (think of dirty jokes kind of product), maybe female
2. Adult (18 years+ because of product, needs to be sold to )

Product itself:
1. Although the product is not pornographic, it implies pornography and is definitely for the adult crowd.
2. It is meant to be funny, kind of a parody of some kind
3. Priced range is around $20.


The question is, how do I target 18+ year males, and guarantee that I exclude the younger than 18 years of age, while being able to promote my product/website.

Set your marketing sights on college students. Link exchanges with similar but not competing sites and forums is a good place to start.

DJ-sound, thank you. That is definitely a good spot to start at. I started reading about ways to reach college students, and found that there are many educational type venues for reaching them.

It brings a new dilemma however, as my product is "adult" (not really, but has the flavor), and might not be very compatible with educational type things.
