How to find the owner

I'm desperately trying to find the owner of 2 domains ...

Impossible to find out who it is ... (whois protected). Ii is a .ca and a .com !

What is my option ?

For the .ca, try this whois first: http://whois.cira.ca/

after you plug in the name and hit search you get an option to send a message
directly to the owner via the cira site.

it does work, I have received inquiries from here a few times

and PS: it's FREE!
