Can't find Whois

Hi, I can't find the whois of a .com domain. It just displays the registrar. Nothing about it being private or doaminsmyproxy. I even tried the whois of the original registrar and his name or email is not displayed. How do I figure out who the owner is?

Assuming your using whois.sc or whois.net you could always try entering the domain name at dynadot.com and then see if that brings a whois with more information.

I tried godaddy as well and the same thing came up. Absolutely no info except registrar.

the domain may be in reserve/delete/auction by the registar

I had this happen when some foreign registrar's whois doesn't work or not functioning.
