This is obviously just an educated guess on your part. Looking a few years out, what do you think the value of your mobi portfolio will be? I am approaching 400 mobis and think mine is in the mid $xxx, xxx range. I simply would not sell for anything less! Care to take a guess at yours?

edit: Nice portfolio Dagersh :)
Thanks! I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Of course, renewal fees will be rough :'(, so I hope I can make a few decent sales in the next year or two...

If it takes off, seven digits would suit me fine. As I have already made six digits by selling a small percentage of my portofolio now, that shouldn't be too difficult. Of course eight digits would suit me even better, but I'm not sure if I will be strong enough to hang on to my names when the seven digit offers might start rolling in.

My only real good name is antioxidants.mobi, so I'm working on developing it at the moment and hopefully it'll pay for all my other bad regs (about 300 bad ones :'( ) a few years from now... Keep seeing more antioxidant this, antioxidant that, wherever I go, so that can't be a bad sign :)

I Really do not know what the Portfolio will be worth 5 years down the line but would definitely hit the Seven figure mark once .Mobi Sites start becoming popular and get good amount of Traffic.

My Portofolio is listed here:

Its for you all to judge now.

You read my mind, I thought antioxidants.mobi was the best as well.

Would get alot of type in traffic I believe too.

Keeping on the topic of this thread, I HOPE my .mobi portfolio would be worth low 6 figures if this took off and somehow surpassed .com. I actually think .mobi could surpass .com if everyone dumps their PC's in droves and web browsing starts to take place mainly on mobile devices. Alot of variables, but under perfect conditions where mobile is King and long names are easily browsable, mine could be worth that much easily. Worst case scenario: I've spent 800 bucks, .mobi becomes worthless and I lose it all. But I think that is highly unlikely.

I think it's possible it could surpass dotcom also... There's alot of countries where people can't afford computers, but can afford cell phones. I remember reading that someone on here had found an article suggesting there are 4 cell phones for every computer.

I think you would be WELL within the 7 figure mark. You have some very, very good names. I am jealous.

In reality, this could happen so fast it could make everybody's head spin. Remember what happened when cellphones took off. Within a YEAR everybody seemed to have one. The same thing is going to happen here. PC's are old news soon. Big Dogs are backing .mobi. There's nothing more to say really. I sincerely hope it goes as we think it will.

55 medium to high value .mobi's with an average value of $5K per domain = $275,000

The irony is that if they get to be worth that much, I won't sell 'em!

I gotta say that you must be out of your mind. I see you post some of your mobis. You seem to hand reg which means you have spent less than $5k so far...and you think you have half-million in mobi's? In what world do you live in?

btw...I have 5 mobis...I think the value is about $300 total..I have one LLL.mobi (dxd.mobi) and a few others.
Labrocca, I have already sold 8 mobis for a total of $1800. Thats about $210 on average. If you add it up for the total portfolio that's in the $70,000 range. Some of my names will sell for less than average and some for more. My guess is that the ones that sell for more will be alot more than average. Looking out a few years I sincerely believe that my portfolio will be worth a pretty penny. And yes I do hand reg. Why would I do anything different when I can still get great names for reg. fee? Sorry you missed the boat on this one. Better luck next time!
