I am also relatively new. I've had www.links.com parked at both SedoPro and NameDrive with considerable differences in CTR.

Because links.com is pretty generic and receives all types of type in searches, the most important element for links.com is the landing page design. NameDrive did some customization for me and while the page is pretty barebones, the statistics that appear on the page almost doubled the CTR compared to SedoPro's standard generic landing page.

I did experiment with different keywords, and keywords definitely make a difference. The closer they are to what a person is initially looking for, the better the chance that they will click-thru. It depends upon the domain name. NameDrive gives lots of good statistics to help you choose the correct keywords.
